The app crashes or will not open

If Soul will not open, or closes immediately:

  1. Check you are on iOS 16.0 or later.
  2. Update Soul from the App Store.
  3. Restart your iPhone.
  4. Offload Soul in Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Soul > Offload App, then tap the icon to reinstall. This keeps documents and data.
  5. If that fails, delete Soul and reinstall from the App Store. You will need to sign in again.

Check status.soul.app in case this is an outage.

If it still crashes, email support@soul.app with your iPhone model, iOS version, and whether it happens on launch or after a specific action (call, Minecraft, creating a friend).
