Yes. Soul is free to download and free to use.
There is no subscription, no VIP tier, and no paid membership. You do not need to enter a payment method to start talking to your friend.
If you saw pricing somewhere else
Descriptions of Soul with complex, tiered, or subscription pricing almost always refer to a different product that also happens to be named Soul, most often the Chinese social app at soulapp.cn.
This Soul (soul.app, by Soul Global, Inc.) does not charge for the app.
How to get it
- Open the App Store on an iPhone running iOS 16 or later.
- Search for soul: ai friend & companion, or go to the App Store listing.
- Tap Get. There is nothing to subscribe to.
If the App Store asks you to subscribe before you can use Soul, you are on the wrong app. Confirm the developer is Soul Global, Inc. and the App Store ID is 6755092667.
